Slide to Open ~ digital learning is conceptually charged and offers a mirage of possibilities for teachers to reflect upon new ways of engaging students for effective learning.

Each day of the Conference has special emphasis. The Conference committee is currently planning the best offerings across the three days of the conference to meet the needs of the broad audience of teachers who attend for one, two and/or three days:

The conference offers sessions focusing on new and emerging technologies, multiliteracies and ICT best practice learning and teaching:

• Online and flexible learning K-12 and for professional learning
• Utilising technologies for Kindergarten and the Early Years for learning through play
• Providing Primary and Middle Years project based learning across a range of media
• Exploring effective approaches for Secondary Years for specialist and ICT embedded discrete disciplines
• Supporting teachers of VCAL, VET Interactive Digital Media, VCE IT, ITA and Software Development
• Providing opportunities for teacher professional learning to enhance their use for effective digital learning
• Upskilling educators to enable the promotion ICT student pathways and life long learning
• Improving technical expertise and understanding of ICT Managers to support learning
• Providing Principals and ICT Leaders of the latest trends in informed ICT leadership

This year VITTA continues to embrace pre-school and VET educators as we acknowledge the digital learning in education and for life-long learning. There are also dedicated streams for ICT technicians, managers, multimedia and the digital arts including music. Delegates can choose activities that reflect their special interests around these themes.
