Armin Kroll

VITTA is proud to present this iPhone development workshop for teachers interested in programming for mobile devices. Armin Kroll and Daniel Bradby will guide teachers through the Apple SDK to build a simple iPhone application.

The iPhone has become one of the most popular mobile devices within a very short period of time. Young people use the iPhone or iPod Touch for more than just listening to music, making a phone call or playing games. These multi-purpose devices are changing the way we consume information and interact socially. Currently more than 50,000 applications are available in the Apple AppStore for the iPhone and iPod Touch. To produce this many applications Apple has provided a great set of development tools.

This workshop is a journey into the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK). We will demonstrate how an iPhone application is structure and how to use the SDK to build a simple iPhone application. After the workshop the participants should be able to explain the process involved in developing an iPhone application and even get started in building their own first iPhone app.

Please note that only 24 places are available.
