iAwards - Honouring the ICT industry's finest

The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) is the peak body representing the IT industry in Australia. Each year the AIIA hosts the iAwards, Australia’s leading IT awards program and the only Australian IT awards which feed into an international awards program.

The iAwards include categories specifically for students. We would like to encourage all students to consider entering, not only do they get a great experience and increased career opportunities but there are also substantial scholarships on offer.

The key dates for the 2009 iAwards are:

• Nominations open 5 January 2009
• State briefing sessions 2 - 6 February 2009
• Nominations close 25 February 2009
• Phase 1 judging 27 February - 9 March 2009
• iAwards state winners presentations 6 - 9 April 2009
• Phase 2 judging 29 - 30 April 2009
• Innovation showcase 27 May 2009
• iAwards gala dinner 27 May 2009

Phase 2 judging, the innovation showcase and iAwards gala dinner will be conducted in Melbourne. AIIA is now accepting expressions of interest in the 2009 iAwards .
