Beginner Teacher Survival Guide: Using ICT in the Classroom
September 9, 2008This workshop will give participants the opportunity to develop an understanding of what lies ahead of them in their first twelve months of teaching from an ICT point of view. It will look at the skills required to be able to function effectively as a member of a teaching staff both from a curriculum point of view and an administration point of view. Participants will develop a better understanding of what are the essential understandings and skills that teachers in the twenty first century are expected to have in their repertoire. Pedagogy, software, curriculum development, online resources and assessment will be discussed. This workshop will suit pre service teachers at any year level from any subject background.
